Detroit morning radio indicate Mojo in the Early morning posted photos of Fakih competing its 2007 "Stripper 101" contest. For the contest, strippers showed female listeners some moves and the "most effective student" was the grand-prize winner. Matching to the station, only girls have been in attendance and the performers were definitely all totally clothed.
The pictures, which the station stated have been circulating on their website for years, display Fakih dancing entirely clothed and with dollar bills stuffed in her bra immediately after winning the competition.
The stereo station says it was all in beneficial enjoyable, but Mojo in the Morning wrote on its web page Monday that Miss USA officials contacted them "requesting more photographs and information" with regards to Fakih's involvement in the competition. When the show's producers asked pageant officials if the artwork would have an effect on Fakih's name, they wouldn't reply.
"Mojo in the Morning fully supports Rimah Fakih as she represents Detroit and America in the Miss Universe contest," a Mojo staffer emailed Celebrity Circuit. "The radio exhibit will not entertain requests to drag her name via the mud."
In respect to a report posted on TMZ.com, Fakih earned prizes including "jewelry, present cards, adult toys and a stripper pole for dwelling use" just after winning the competition.
Other beauty queens have gotten in trouble and been equipped to retain their crowns. Miss USA 2006 Tara Connor almost dropped her subject throughout underage drinking and hard partying, but she entered a drug rehabilitation system and was allowed to preserve her crown.
